Dexter + Chaney has released enhanced Project Management software for Version 11 of its Forefront Construction Management Software. Project Management bridges the gap between accounting staff and project managers by providing a standardized process for managing workflow. “At any given moment,” says Dexter + Chaney president John Chaney, “Forefront can give the status of each RFI, submittal, change request and change order. Project Management tracks all of these project components — from initiation to final resolution — by date and detail in an organized, uniform, easy-to-access system.”

Among other innovations, the program’s new Inbox screen displays items the team needs to address for a specific project and allows collaboration between members without faxing or e-mailing documents. Viewers may view or print scanned documents and reply to RFIs, submittals, transmittals, memos or change requests.
