Creating images with dyes prior to acid staining

Place objects on the floor to create abstract shapes.
Colormaker Floors Creating Abstract Tip 1
Spray water-based dyes on the whole floor. The objects act as resists for the dyes.

Remove the objects and then spray acid stain on the whole floor, allowing all the colors to mingle with each other.

By putting the dyes down before the acid stains, you can open up a much wider range of color than if the acids went down first.
