Cemstone grows

Cemstone Products Co. has acquired Concrete Materials Inc. of Medford, Minn. CMI is a leading manufacturer of concrete masonry units in southern Minnesota, and under the terms of the agreement will continue to operate under its current name and management.

Celebrating its 80th anniversary in 2007, Cemstone and its affiliated companies — Concrete Materials Inc., Rochester and Mankato Brick, and Owatonna Concrete Products — are leading upper Midwest suppliers of sustainable concrete and masonry technologies, products and services to the construction industry. Combined with the recent acquisition of Rochester and Mankato Brick, this acquisition enables masonry contractors in the region to obtain all of their concrete masonry products and services from a single source.
