Vytek has begun offering Color Laser Engraving
Vytek has begun offering Color Laser Engraving, a patent-pending process that uses a Vytek laser system to permanently bond special laser inks in full or partial color. Materials that can be color-engraved include ceramics, porcelain, marble, granite, travertines, glass and engineered stone. Color Laser Engraving can be used in indoor and outdoor applications, and in most cases, both horizontally and vertically.
The color process is offered in addition to Vytek’s Deep Stone Carving system. Available since 2006, Deep Stone Carving is a patented way to laser-etch stone. Vytek’s laser system can carve designer patterns up to 1/8 inch deep in limestone, marble and travertine surfaces. Designs are incorporated into a software package that is loaded on a Vytek laser machine.
