The Concrete Sawing and Drilling Association and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration have announced the renewal of their Alliance to further the safety and health of construction workers in the sawing and drilling industry. Research examines drop-in anchor failures
Members of the Concrete Sawing & Drilling Association have observed, over the last few years, failures when using half-inch drop-in anchors. Since these failures pose a serious hazard to operators, the CSDA sponsored a senior engineering project at the University of Toledo College of Engineering to evaluate the reasons behind them.
