Concrete Coatings fine-tunes new house brand
Concrete Coatings Inc. launched a new distribution plan in January 2008.The company now sells its products under its own label via distributors across the country.
CCI has obtained five outside sales representatives to establish relationships with distributors. They will handle customers CCI had sold to directly for a short time.
The company has been a manufacturer of decorative coatings since 1996. It manufactures an acrylic overlay system, chemical acid-stain system and epoxy systems. It also makes a complete line of solvent-based and water-based sealers as well as commercial urethanes. The company also offers microtoppings, Stamp-Tek stampable overlays, liquid colorant, CCI Dri-Look Masonry Seals, DuraWax Acrylic floor wax and Stamp-Tek liquid release agents.
Concrete Coatings Inc. had private-labeled for some of the largest names in the decorative concrete industry for years before deciding to release its product under its own label through national distribution. "We have already picked up several distributors and are constantly picking up more," says CCI director of marketing and distributor communications Brandon Gutierrez. "Our plan is to focus on quality products, outstanding customer service, continuedtechnical support, nationwide sales support and serviceand demos/trainings at our distributors across the country, as well as in Canada and PuertoRico."
CCI has also ramped up its marketing and communica-tions presence, says Gutierrez.
"In an effort to show how serious we are as a player in this industry, we have revamped our logo for shelf presence, put together a new product catalog and cut sheets and relaunched our Web site," he says. "Our Web site will be more user-friendly than everbefore."
Distributors and contractors can download catalogs, cut sheets, and MSDS andTDS information online. A calendar on the Web site shows when training and demos will be held, while a distributor login page allows distributors to place orders. Finally, contractors and distributors can sign up online to receive regular newsletters.
