Enhancer fights contaminants

VIC International has introduced Bellatrix, a premium concrete-floor enhancer designed to protect against nearly all contaminants, particularly in the food industry.

Bellatrix, a water-based, synthetic polymer concrete floor enhancer, is another VIC International-distributed product that comes out of a partnership with W.R. Meadows. It contains a proprietary stain-blocking additive that provides increased stain suspension and resistance against most contaminants. Bellatrix is designed to be used with the concrete hardener and densifier Liqui-Hard and the polished concrete system Induroshine. Bellatrix provides a durable, long-lasting, high-gloss, stain-blocking, breathable layer, adding improved abrasion resistance to a concrete floor. From a maintenance and cleanliness perspective, the enhancer is value-added, since it facilitates ease of cleaning while dustproofing the concrete floor itself.

Bellatrix covers from 500 square feet to 1,500 square feet per gallon, depending on the floor. Available in 1-gallon, 5-gallon and 55-gallon containers, Bellatrix is anticipated to be an important component in the VIC International concrete polishing “green” certification program as accredited by Green Spec last year.
