Initiative urges G8 leaders to adopt sectoral approaches
The World Business Council for Sustainable Development’s Cement Sustainability Initiative, currently co-chaired by Lafarge and Taiheiyo Cement, has called on G8 members and the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change to accelerate the creation of a policy framework that will allow the development of effective sectoral approaches.
