Spring Training

Why Have An Event All About Decorative Concrete?

Sherry Boyd writes - Top-notch hands-on training will be brought to Phoenix by the best in the business. I predict a real synergy and buzz when people committed to this business get together to talk about concrete staining, stenciling, stamping, polishing, engraving, resurfacing, repair, renovation, countertops, artificial rockwork, vertical features and artistic specialties. The mild dry spring weather in Arizona promises an enjoyable climate for outdoor workshops and demos in March of 2010. So it will be great to get outside after the cold winter where I live!

Such a wide range of beautiful work is done every day. That's what makes this business exciting as a uniquely creative market segment!

It gets my dander up when the word NICHE is used to describe decorative concrete! To me, decorative concrete deserves more attention and more respect. Does that term bother anyone else, or am I in the minority? Please comment. (Comments button below)

Anthony's Gravatar I agree there should be more respect offered to the decorative concrete??
The same feeling I have regarding the reference made to brushes in that
same arena...
