Rafael A. Cabrera, a well-known marketer and consultant specializing in decorative concrete companies, passed away October 28, 2013.
Rafael founded his marketing firm, Tools for the Capitalist LLC, in 2002, and was a highly visible presence in the decorative concrete industry, helping manufacturers such as Brickform and Proline Concrete Tools learn how to promote their products in the marketplace. He founded JoeCrete.com in 2012 to launch a group of new decorative concrete product suppliers.
By taking the lead in imparting marketing and business skills to decorative concrete manufactuers and suppliers, Rafael played an integral role in making this industry what it is today. His passion for the fledgling decorative concrete trades was legendary. Rafael was one of our biggest supporters and he will be missed.
In lieu of flowers, Rafael’s family asks that you send donations in his name to his preferred charity, Gospel Ideals International.

Rafael had struggled with cancer for several months, but he remained involved in his business activities. He passed away due to an infection he contracted in a recent surgery.
