Dur-A-Flex set to celebrate a milestone at World of Concrete

Dur-A-Flex Inc., a leading manufacturer of commercial, industrial and institutional seamless, resinous floor systems, will kick off a year-long celebration of its 50th anniversary in business at February’s World of Concrete show in Las Vegas. Dur-A-Flex regularly exhibits its many seamless floor and wall innovations at the show each winter, yet this year in addition to featuring its extensive product list it will also feature the company’s storied history of 50 years of flooring innovation.

“Dur-A-Flex Inc. started from humble beginnings as a small store-front in Connecticut 50 years ago. As a family owned company, our growth and evolution to where we are today has largely been the product of our core values, having the right people, the highest quality products and industry-leading technical and customer service,” says Peter V. Ferris, president and chief operating officer for Dur-A-Flex Inc. “50 years in business is an accomplishment we’re extremely proud of but we’re not resting on our laurels. Our commitment to serving our customers is more important to us than ever, and we look forward to fulfilling our commitment to providing them with the highest quality products for the next 50 years and beyond,” he concludes.

What can you expect from visiting either of Dur-A-Flex’s indoor or outdoor booths at the World of Concrete 2016? Innovation! Dur-A-Flex’s most innovative floor and wall systems ranging from heavy-duty, hybrid systems to high-end decorative options will be on display. Dur-A-Flex’s innovation doesn’t stop with its product line, it continues within the manufacturing process. Show attendees will be able to view a look back at the company’s history and how its innovative processes have led to constant advancements from within; from raising the bar with quality standards to creating a state-of-the-art applicator training center at its Headquarters in Connecticut.

Dur-A-Flex’s indoor booth #S-11039 located within South Hall, will highlight six of Dur-A-Flex’s most popular offerings. Featured will be heavy-duty floor systems, decorative options, Seamless Suite, the Applicator Training Program (ATP), quick-curing systems and Dur-A-Flex’s historical look back. Each pillar around Dur-A-Flex’s modern, circular booth represents a feature that will help customers to grow their business and increase their offerings to their end-user customers. Dur-A-Flex’s outdoor booth #O-40851, is located outside of South Hall in the Silver Lot. Each day members of Dur-A-Flex’s Technical Services team will be doing demonstrations of the fast-track flooring system Accelera, which has been a game changer for the industry.

With a 2-hour cure time and no noticeable odor, Accelera has revolutionized the industry by offering installers and end-users alike the option of renovating floors overnight and not affecting daily operations. Dur-A-Flex’s Technical Service team will be answering questions each day on any of its floor and wall systems – stop by to hear from the experts themselves.
