PCA releases 16th edition of Design and Control of Concrete Mixtures

The Portland Cement Association (PCA) launched "Design and Control of Concrete Mixtures," 16th edition, a fully-revised and comprehensive guide to today’s concrete applications, methods and materials.

Design and Control of Concrete Mixtures is the definitive resource on concrete technology, backed by a 100-year history of PCA research. The 16th edition provides a wealth of new information, including chapters on concrete pavements and structures, and the latest information on standards, specifications, and test methods of ASTM International (ASTM), the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO), and the American Concrete Institute (ACI).

The 2016 edition is released in conjunction with PCA’s Centennial Celebration. Design and Control of Concrete Mixtures has become a must-have resource for professionals and students across the spectrum of the building industry. The book is available for purchase today at the PCA online bookstore.

PCA has been a widely-recognized authority on the technology, economics, and applications of cement and concrete for 100 years. Representing America’s cement manufacturers, PCA is a vocal advocate for sustainability, economic growth, sound infrastructure investment, and overall innovation and excellence in construction.
