Granicrete International gains further NSF certifications

Granicrete International has announced that it has received updated certifications for its countertop surfacing system from the National Sanitation Foundation.

NSF/ANSI 51: Epoxy Coating System for Splash Zone: Granicrete Countertop with one of the following finishes:

  • Sealed with Granicrete Crystal Top Epoxies.
  • Sealed with Granicrete Crystal Top Epoxies, honed, and top coated waxed with Original Bee’s Wax.
  • Sealed with Granicrete Crystal Top Epoxies and top coated with Granicrete WB-P53.
  • Sealed with 2 coats of Granicrete Poly Low Odor and top coated with Granicrete WB-P53.

Granicrete International was the first countertop surfacing system in the industry to receive NSF certification in 2011 and this updated certification helps the company’s independent installers get specified for commercial projects. In addition, it conveys to all consumers the fact that Granicrete stands for quality.

Granicrete reports that independent installers are earning more than $100,000 per year in the home and commercial improvement industries. These installers come from all backgrounds and industries and begin having success with just a few days of practical training and a minimal amount of tools when further aided by Granicrete’s broad technical support from their corporate office and network.
