By the time you read this, the 2012 Concrete Decor Show will be underway in San Antonio, Texas. There's a definite buzz in the air. Decorative concrete contractors, like concrete contractors everywhere, are starting to feel optimistic about their economic prospects this year.
We've talked to a lot of people of over the past couple of weeks who fall into two camps: people who have at the last minute decided to come to our show after all, and people who CAN'T come because they are so swamped with new work.
To the folks in the second group, I'd like to say that we'll miss you, but we sure are happy for you. Sunny days have been a long time coming in our industry. You have to take advantage of them when they come.
To those of you in the first group, and everyone else in Texas with us right now, I'll see you at the convention center, at the SAY Si workshops and on the Riverwalk. Do a little business, eat a little Tex-Mex, learn a little something.
