2009 convention slated for Cancun

The Concrete Sawing and Drilling Association has announced that its 37th annual convention will be held March 3-8 in Cancun, Mexico.

The CSDA 2009 Convention will open with a presentation on “Leadership in the Changing World” by keynote speaker Robert Stevenson. Stevenson has owned and sold companies internationally, held positions from salesman to CFO and managed a worldwide sales force.

Technical and business sessions led by seasoned contractors and well-established manufacturers will cover everything from dry diamond-cutting reinforced concrete at a nuclear power plant to managing large international jobs and wire sawing. Round-table sessions will be held on subjects such as billing practices and risk management.

Afternoons have been left free so that attendees will have plenty of time to enjoy the beautiful coast of Cancun. Convention participants can plan their own outings or choose from tours coordinated by CSDA that include deep-sea fishing, snorkeling, exploring the Mayan ruins of Tulum or riding the Selvatica zip line across jungle treetops.
