ASCC plans its 2008 Annual Conference

Demonstrations of pervious concrete placement and three-dimensional paving will highlight the American Society of Concrete Contractors’ Annual Conference, Sept. 11-14 at the Crowne Plaza Riverwalk in San Antonio, Texas.

Concrete contractors and manufacturers of concreterelated products will gather for three days of seminars, round-table discussions, demonstrations and networking. Seminar topics include “Immigration — Where Do We Stand?” “Pervious Concrete — Warts & All,” “Troubleshooting Decorative Concrete” and “Marketing Concrete Parking Lots.”

Round-table discussions will cover such topics as “Prospering in a Down Market,” “Branding Your Company,” “Immigration,” “Decorative Concrete Layout” and “Contracts & Risk Management.” In addition to demos on pervious concrete and 3-D paving, decorative concrete experts will construct a replica of the front of The Alamo using verticalconcrete application materials and techniques.
