The Concrete Reinforcing Steel Institute has announced the appointment of John Turner, P.E., as its new greater Southwestern region manager. In this position, Turner will be responsible for managing all CRSI technical, educational, promotional and membership activities in the states of Arkansas, Colorado, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas.
Turner is a registered engineer in Texas and a certified safety professional, as well as a member of the American Association for Wind Engineering, the Structural Engineers Association of Texas, and the American Concrete Institute, where he sits on Committee 314 (Simplified Design of Concrete Buildings).
