DuoScreed feasts on tough concrete work

Multiquip’s one-man DuoScreed features a unique blade profile that enables a lone operator to strike off concrete floors. This model uses blades that are 50 percent lighter than those on its predecessor, allowing greater maneuverability, faster finishes and stronger slabs with less effort. It is well suited to a variety of jobs such as sidewalks, driveways, pathways and decks. The DuoScreed’s vibratory action embeds aggregate and reduces air voids, producing a dense slab while eliminating the strenuous, time-consuming labor associated with manual screeding. It sports an integrated lifting bar that is part of the control handle. The blade reverses in seconds without tools, with one side used for standard form-to-form screeding while the other is utilized for wet screeding. The unit is powered by a fourstroke, 1.5-horsepower Honda GX- 31 gasoline engine. For more information, visit www.multiquip.com or call (800) 421-1244.
