Engineer Honored by ACI

The American Concrete Institute has named Colin Lobo, vice president of engineering for the National Ready Mixed Concrete Association, as a Fellow in its organization, placing him among an elite group of technical experts within the concrete industry. Founded in 1904, ACI is a technical and educational society dedicated to improving the design, construction, maintenance and repair of concrete structures. ACI Fellows have made outstanding contributions to the production or use of concrete materials, products and structures in the areas of education, research, development, design, construction or management, and must have made significant contributions to ACI through committees and/or local chapters. Lobo joined NRMCA’s engineering staff in Sept. 1991 and was named vice president of the department in June 1998.
