Extra-wide floats cover more surface area

Marshalltown has released an entire new line of tough, lightweight magnesium hand floats. Called “The Hog,” these new floats feature a massive 33⁄4-inch wide blade that covers more surface area and wears longer. They vary in length from 12 to 24 inches, with each model available in the DuraSoft or wood-handle version. The Hog magnesium floats produce a smoother finish than wooden ones. They are also designed to offer superior handling due to the large blade and positioning of the handle to give the tool excellent balance. The handles are designed with torque pad screws that will not back out over time. They are especially good for preparing air-entrained concrete for troweling.
