International Concrete Repair Institute Fall convention details announced

The International Concrete Repair Institute will hold its 2009 Fall Convention Oct. 21-23, 2009, at The Buttes in Tempe, Ariz. The convention theme for this event will be “Flooring Issues.” ICRI will offer 12 technical presentations by industry experts.

Subject matter will include self-levelers, curing issues, fixing new-construction problems, forensics, cracking and moisture testing. In addition to these technical presentations, ICRI will introduce highlights of its new Slab Moisture Testing Technician Certification Program.

This program was developed by ICRI to standardize moisture testing in the United States for consistent, accurate and truly representative results, which will allow flooring manufacturers, architects and contractors to make better decisions on when a concrete floor is ready for a floor covering. The featured program will be the 17th Annual ICRI Project Awards banquet honoring the winners of the annual contest.
