NewLook International Inc. has announced that Cement Color, a fade-resistant integral color additive used for tinting cement and mortar mixtures, is now available for resell. Cement Color may now be purchased from authorized NewLook distributors.
Cement Colors are pure, concentrated pigments made of high-quality synthetic metal oxides recycled from iron or refined from the earth and specially processed for mixing into concrete. Cement Colors comply with ASTM C979 Pigments for Integrally Colored Concrete.
“Until recently, Cement Color has been purchased through channels other than our specialty concrete resellers. But it just makes sense to expand this product into our traditional channel so professional decorative installers and DIY customers can benefit from it,” explains Jacob Webb, vice president of NewLook.
Cement Color’s six popular colors are light-fast, durable, alkali and ultraviolet resistant. They are used for coloring concrete masonry, mortar, pavers, retaining walls, stucco, and roof tile mixtures. They are also used in cast-in-place, slab-on-grade, precast, tilt-up and decorative concrete, cast stone, plaster, stucco and other cement-based construction materials.
Cement Color is currently available in two or three pound containers.
