Rust-Oleum acquires Seal-Krete

Rust-Oleum Corp. announced today that it has acquired Seal-Krete, a leading manufacturer of concrete care coatings and sealants.

For more than 30 years, Seal-Krete, based in Auburndale, Florida, has been the professional choice in weatherproofing protection for concrete and masonry. The company offers professional contractors and do-it-yourselfers a complete line of concrete and masonry weatherproofing coatings developed for surface protection and beautification of residential and commercial concrete surfaces.

“Seal-Krete expands our range of concrete care products, complementing our existing RockSolid and EpoxyShield lines,” said Tom Reed, president and chief operating officer of Rust-Oleum. “It allows us to offer a complete one-stop-shop program for concrete care.”

Among Seal-Krete’s leading brands are Seal-Krete Original, Seal-Krete Epoxy-Seal, Clear Seal and Damplock. The brand is sold nationwide in home centers and hardware stores.
