Seal-Krete announces new high performance metallics

Seal-Krete has introduced s a new line of metallic pigments for use with Seal-Krete High Performance Epoxy-Shell seamless concrete floor systems. The new metallic pigments transform ordinary concrete floors in commercial, retail and residential settings into modern, upscale surfaces with the look of copper, silver, aged bronze, nickel and other shimmery patinas.

“A total ‘wow’ factor can be achieved with Seal-Krete High Performance Metallics,” says Kevin Corcoran, marketing manager at Seal-Krete. “By using multiple colors and different application techniques, an unlimited combination of customized finishes can be achieved to create the perfect look for any interior concrete floor.”

Seal-Krete Epoxy-Shell metallic finishes are chemical resistant and easy to apply on interior floors. The epoxy-based coating system combines durability with outstanding adhesion to concrete floors. Applying a topcoat of Seal-Krete Poly-Shell adds excellent UV resistance and maintains gloss in areas that are exposed to direct sunlight. Common applications for metallic epoxy floor coatings include retail stores, showrooms, residential settings, school hallways, cafeterias, hospitals, research facilities and manufacturing plants.

Seal-Krete High Performance Metallics are available in nine colors, including Black Ice, Polished Steel, Brushed Aluminum, Brown Leather, Warm Caramel, Deep Bronze, Pomegranate, Sage Green and Ocean Blue. Depending on the look desired, Metallics can be applied as a solid color or with the appearance of marble, using special application techniques. Various colors can be combined to create unlimited custom finishes.
