The new system recognizes licensed applicators who follow standards set by the LEVELROCK floor underlayment quality program. The initiative also gives them valuable tools and resources to help them expand their businesses. Initial benefits of being named a Five-Star applicator include a warranty extension from two years to five years, opportunities to participate in an extended warranty program, recognition on product-related Web sites, advertising and other marketing and lead-generation materials, and the use of a special logo. Qualifying companies have participated in U.S. Gypsum’s quality initiatives for at least six months to one year and have received field training from Alcorp Marketing Inc. They must also pass audits and submit job samples.
