World of Concrete Launches Work Truck Live!

World of Concrete, the industry’s only annual international event dedicated to the commercial concrete and masonry construction industries, revealed Work Truck Live!, an all-new experiential initiative designed to showcase the innovations in a contractor’s most important asset, trucks.

Set to debut at the January 17-19, 2023, event held at the Las Vegas Convention Center, the dedicated exhibit area in Central Hall, presented by Modern WorkTruck Solutions, will highlight innovations in the design and configuration of work trucks and innovative accessories that will help contractors increase safety and productivity. Work Truck Live! is strategically designed to bring attention to industry-leading companies that manufacture chassis and supply up-fitting accessories, as well as develop technologies with which contractors can customize their vehicles to the job at hand.

Modern WorkTruck Solutions, a media brand of Highlands Publications, a multi-media publishing company based in Birmingham, Alabama, whose editorial team focuses on the fleet-based work truck market, will contribute expertise to the interactive area and educational program. Attendees will benefit from the initiative’s curated selection of manufacturers of chassis, trailers, and accessory vehicle products, easily accessible to event participants in the Central Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center.

“We could not be more excited to introduce Work Truck Live! at the next edition of World of Concrete,” said Kevin Archibald, Senior Show Manager of World of Concrete. “Work Truck Live! is such an important initiative, as powerful and efficient work trucks are the backbone of our community’s everyday efforts. The manufacturers that make our attendees’ lives easier, more productive, and increasingly enjoyable through the development of new technology innovations and products now have a dedicated platform at World of Concrete to showcase the latest must-have additions to work truck fleets.”

Ride and Drive experience

In addition to Work Truck Live!, World of Concrete is debuting a Ride and Drive experience that provides attendees the rare opportunity to test-drive select Class 1- Class 7 vehicles. Approved drivers and passengers experience the feel of the vehicle in a closed, short loop located near the Las Vegas Convention Center. Ride and Drive will take place on Tuesday and Wednesday during World of Concrete – visit www.worldofconcrete.com for more information on how to participate.

“Between Work Truck Live! and the Ride and Drive program, there is no better place for our community to discover the best vehicles and supporting technology and accessories available on the market than World of Concrete,” said Russell Haddock, President, Highlands Publications. “We are honored to partner with World of Concrete to gather a wide range of vehicles for all types of concrete and masonry construction professionals, offering the hard-to-come-by seat time in various styles of work trucks that attendees may be considering for use in their fleets.”

World of Concrete will feature a technical session as a part of the event’s highly anticipated educational programming, featuring editors from Modern WorkTruck Solutions. They will explore timely topics contractors should know and consider when searching for and specifying new work trucks. World of Concrete will announce the full educational agenda soon.
