The Decorative Concrete Council, an arm of the American Society for Concrete Contractors, has selected these projects as the best of 2008 in their categories. These results represent the DCC's first annual decorative concrete competition.

The Safety and Risk Management Council (SRMC) of the American Society of Concrete Contractors (ASCC), St. Louis, recently announced that Keith Wayne, president/CEO of Wayne Brothers, Inc., Davidson, NC, is the first recipient of a new safety award, the ASCC Member Owner Safety Award, presented September 15 at the association’s Annual Conference in Minneapolis.
