Fox Blocks Launches All New Integrated Learning Center

Integrated Learning Center by Fox Blocks LogoIn October 2020, Fox Blocks by Airlite Plastics Co. released an all new Integrated Learning Center (ILC) to deliver online training and education for all aspects of building with Insulated Concrete Forms. The ILC training site has been created by two of the most experienced ICF trainers in the ICF industry.

For over 25 years Glen Klassen and Tom Patton have been an integral part of the ICF development and training community, working with the original training creator, the late Richie Scott. Tom and Glen continue to promote a best practice training curriculum to ensure ICFs are installed with trust with confidence.

The ILC website initially provided an online Primary Installer Training course plus a full educational video library on applications techniques.  The Primary Installer course is a self-paced 6-hour course for at both installers and designers.

The in-depth course has four main sections:
  1. Pre-Build
  2. Building the Wall
  3. Concrete
  4. Post Concrete and Finishes

Each section includes several specific modules with video shot in studio and also on site. Each module starts with a short video and ends with a few questions which unlocks the next video. There is also a detailed downloadable workbook to follow along which provides links to additional resources on www.foxblocks.com.  When completed the registered user receives an ILC Certificate and Fox Blocks Wallet Card, used to confirm their successful course completion.

Part of the Integrated Learning Center is for new and existing Fox Blocks Dealers to educate themselves on everything about Fox Blocks.  Our Product Knowledge Course launches today, December 1, 2020.

This PK course is a self-paced, one-hour course aimed toward Fox Blocks Dealers and requires a password to complete.

The extensive course has five main sections:
  1. Introduction to Fox Blocks
  2. Fox Blocks Product Overview
  3. Fox Blocks Estimating
  4. TRUEGRID Pavers Products
  5. Material and Handling and Sales

Future expansion of the Fox Blocks ILC is in production with three new courses to expand both the installer and dealer experience. Additionally, the video library will continue to expand as well.  Access to the site and the training is free at foxblockstraining.com. However, registration is required to take courses.
