ARA Launches Prioritize Safety Series

ARA ForecastThe American Rental Association (ARA) recently announced the launch of the Prioritize Safety monthly video series focused on essential safety tips for the equipment and event rental industry. The goal of the program is to make learning rental specific topics quick, easy, and fun! Each video is no longer than two
minutes in length and has a unique animation style that spans a variety of safety topics from personal protective equipment (PPE) and chemical safety to defensive driving.

After an employee views the video, they will then get two questions to test their knowledge on what they just learned. The entire Prioritize Safety series is available in both English and Spanish and can be assigned to employees via RentalU, ARA’s online learning platform. Each month, a link to the new video will be sent out in an email. Email [email protected] to get yourself on mailing list.

The first video covers basic PPE, the importance of wearing it, and the consequences for not wearing it. These videos offer training that is easy for employees to access. It just takes only minutes to complete. Additionally, it offers an entertaining spin to make the content more engaging. We hope our members have as much fun taking the training as we did creating it.” – ARA director of education, Lauren Watts.
