Blastrac, NA, has formed Diamatic Management Services (DMS). This new arm will coordinate and handle management, specification writing and training for large surface preparation and polishing projects. Diamatic Management Services will qualify and approve procedures, write specifications, certify contractors and operators, and assist in the supply of proper equipment and consumables for job-specific operations.
DMS will approve contractors through its Ultra- Flor System, using hands-on training, instruction and testing on the proper equipment, and procedures and techniques for achieving specified grinding and polishing requirements. “Based on demand, we’ve decided to act and create a system to connect our contractors, equipment and owners within a network that provides unparalleled quality and repeatability,” stated Steve Klugherz,
Blastrac global vice president, in a press release. “Our extensive Ultra-Flor program will ensure the best results for architects and owners and set standards for consistent quality in the grinding and polishing of concrete floors for high-traffic areas.” The Ultra-Flor System will also answer the call from big chain stores to certify and standardize polishing processes.
