With the production of the first cement, the team has commenced the various tests required in our laboratories. Preliminarily, the results obtained over the last few hours are in line with the companies expectations.
The construction commenced in spring 2014. The Port-Daniel–Gascons complex includes, the quarry, the cement plant and the marine terminal. With the very latest technologies, the plant will produce 2.2 million tons of cement annually. The company also operates its own distribution network in both Canada as well as the United States.
