Coverings, the largest tile and stone trade show in North America, has announced the 14 winners of its prestigious 2020 Rock Star awards. The Coverings Rock Star award is an Emerging Leaders Program that honors the best and brightest young talent in the tile and stone industry. Among this year’s winners is Brittany Storm, Mapei’s Sustainability Manager.
Storm is a LEED Accredited Professional (AP) with Building Design and Construction (BD+C) and Interior Design and Construction (ID+C) specialties. She is also a WELL AP and Fitwel Ambassador. In addition, she is active in several sustainability committees. Her background as a sustainable building consultant and her experience in construction management allow her to speak to both big-picture and technical aspects of a project. “I am honored for the recognition. Thank you all for your continued support and encouragement,” Storm said.
The winners will be recognized during Coverings Connected. This is a brand-new online event taking place April 20-23, 2020. Coverings Connected is taking place of Coverings 2020 as to avoid community spread of COVID-19. The honorees will also receive a gift card. Additionally, they receive honor at an onsite luncheon during Coverings 2021. Coverings 2021 is taking place April 13- 16, 2021 in Orlando, Florida. Mapei looks forward to celebrating with Storm next year at Coverings.
