Dextra Group will work alongside a growing list of other members to support NEx’s mission to collaborate globally on the use of nonmetallic building materials, driving research, education, awareness, and also adoption.

Dextra Group has a reputation for its ability to provide comprehensive solutions to its customers, with expertise in the design and reinforcement of concrete structures using glass fiber-reinforced polymer (GFRP) rebars, and closely collaborates with ICSC, an FRP manufacturer with a new facility in Damman, KSA. Founded in 1983 by French expatriate entrepreneurs, the Group has established itself as a world-renowned manufacturer of engineered steel and fiber-reinforced polymer construction products. For the past 25 years, Dextra Group has been a leading figure in the composite industry, producing high-quality fiber-reinforced polymer solutions for major infrastructure projects. Beyond GFRP rebars, Dextra Group also manufactures other non-metallic solutions like ground anchors & rock-bolts for geotechnical applications, and electrical insulators for overhead power lines.

“At Dextra Group, we strive to collaborate with individuals and communities who share our passion for progress,” said Pierre Hofmann, Dextra Group Geotechnical Product Line General Manager. “The NEx platform provides a valuable opportunity for us to showcase our products and solutions, engage in discourse about the future of engineering and construction, explore new ideas and develop sustainable solutions. It’s thrilling to be a part of the Non-metallic solutions community and anticipate significant growth potential for these innovative solutions.”

NEx looks to draw additional partners from leading government agencies, technical societies, standard bodies, and manufacturers. For further information about how NEx is advancing nonmetallics and become involved, visit nonmetallic.org.
