Rust-Oleum Corp. has acquired certain assets of Multicolor Specialties Inc., a manufacturer of specialty coatings based in Cicero, Ill. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Multicolor has annual sales of about $5 million. Its primary products are multicolored coatings for architectural and small-project applications. The architectural products are principally sold through paint stores, while the small-project paints are sold through do-it-yourself retail outlets.
