The ACI Foundation’s 2024-2025 Fellowship and Scholarship Applications open July 5th

The ACI Foundation will begin accepting applications from graduate and undergraduate students for the 2024-2025 academic year on July 5, 2023. Eight new fellowships and one new scholarship have been added, bringing the total annual awards to 46.

New awards include:
  • Ronald G. Burg Leadership Fellowship (graduate or undergraduate)
  • ACI Foundation Fellowship (10 new awards for graduate or undergraduate)
  • ACI 201 Concrete Durability Scholarship (undergraduate)

ACI Foundation fellowships are offered to both undergraduate and graduate students pursuing a concrete-related degree or program at an accredited institution in the US, Canada, and now Mexico.

Fellowships provide the following benefits:
  • An educational stipend of $10,000;
  • Airfare, hotel, travel stipend, and registration to attend two ACI Concrete Conventions (travel contingent upon state and country laws);
  • Assignment to a mentor;
  • An internship, if required; and
  • Recognition at ACI Concrete Conventions, in Concrete International, and on ACI Foundation’s website and social media.

Students in specific countries are eligible for the ACI Foundation Middle East & North Africa Fellowship.

This Fellowship provides the following benefits:
  • An educational stipend of $10,000;
  • Airfare, hotel, travel stipend, and registration to attend one North American ACI Concrete Convention (travel contingent upon state and country laws ) for an in-person interview, travel to one ACI Middle
  • East Conference, and travel within the Middle East region to obtain ACI certification;
  • Assignment to a mentor; and
  • Recognition at ACI Concrete Conventions, in Concrete International, and on ACI Foundation’s website and social media.

ACI Foundation scholarships are also offered to graduate and undergraduate students pursuing a concrete-related degree or program. International students are eligible to apply for most scholarships. Each ACI Foundation scholarship includes an educational stipend of $5000 USD and recognition in Concrete International and on the ACI Foundation’s website and social media. Among other requirements, students must obtain two endorsements, with one of the endorsements being from an ACI member.

The deadline for this application period is November 1, 2023, at 11:59 p.m. EST.
