Acrylic coating aids concrete restoration

Anvil Paints & Coatings has released Deck-A-New, a 100-percent acrylic product that resurfaces wood and concrete surfaces. The product’s solid-color finish repairs structurally sound wood, concrete and composite surfaces. This new product is ecofriendly and provides a substantial layer that dries up to four times thicker than conventional stains.

The thick coating fills cracks and encapsulates splinters while delivering a slip-resistant finish that is unyielding to scuffs, peels and chips. The result is a low-maintenance surface that is water repellent and resists the elements. Deck-A-New protects vertical and horizontal surfaces inside and out with lasting durability.

Deck-A-New is available in five standard colors — Driftwood (gray), Butternut, Cedar, Walnut and Redwood. Construction supply stores may offer it in three tint bases — white, intermediate and accent.
