USG has introduced a new cementitious underlayment. Levelrock brand 4500 NXG floor underlayment is a highperformance underlayment designed for interior use in a wide variety of projects. It turns out a smooth, hard surface that provides long life over concrete slabs, prestressed concrete and concrete planks at thicknesses from featheredge (with proper sand) to 2 inches.
Suitable for use with a variety of floor coverings, the underlayment offers compressive strengths of up to 5,500 psi. Quick application and setting times, combined with high production rates, permit the resumption of trade traffic within hours of the underlayment pour.
