Chromaflo Hires New Key Employees

Santosh Yadav Chromaflo Technologies, one of the leading independent global suppliers of colorant systems, chemical and pigment dispersions, is pleased to announce that Santosh Yadav has accepted the position of Product Development Scientist for Thermosets at the Ashtabula facility.

This position conducts new product research and development for Thermoset Technology, and provides technical support to the Thermoset business unit. In addition, Yadav will provide start-up support to Manufacturing as projects are scaled to production quantities.

Previously, Yadav was an Assistant Research Professor at Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA. Prior to this position, Yadav was a Postdoctoral Researcher Fellow at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore and a Visiting Scientist at the Korea Institute of Science and Technology in Seoul, Korea. Yadav studied with specific emphasis on polymer composite materials during his education.

Yadav holds a Master of Science in Organic Chemistry from the University of Allahabad, India and a Ph.D. from Konkuk University, Seoul South Korea.

Erinn Woods has accepted the position of Color Scientist for the Ashtabula facility.

Erinn WoodsThis position is responsible to provide color technology support to both internal and external customers for colorant dispersions, create and maintain color technology competencies in terms of instrumentation, electronic formulation tools, formularies and color measurements, helps create and support color marketing electronic tools and practices, as well as develops and trains the technical organization in color practices for colorant dispersions.

Previously, Woods was an Undergraduate Chemistry Research Assistant at Miami University. During her time at Miami University she completed an internship in Research and Development at Cold Jet, LLC.

Woods holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Miami (Ohio) University.

Ramon Lozada

Ramon Lozada has accepted the position of Color Scientist for the Ashtabula facility.

This position is responsible to provide color technology support to both internal and external customers for colorant dispersions, create and maintain color technology competencies in terms of instrumentation, electronic formulation tools, formularies and color measurements, helps create and support color marketing electronic tools and practices, as well as develops and trains the technical organization in color practices for colorant dispersions.

Previously, Lozada was a Plant Chemist at Sherwin Williams Company in Wichita, Kansas. Prior to this position, Lozada was a Contract Chemist for Sherwin Williams Company in at the Warrensville Heights, Ohio location.

Lozada holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry with a concentration in Biochemistry from The University of Toledo.

Kristin Alt

Kristin Alt has accepted the position of Technical Service Technician – Thermoset Americas and will be located at the Ashtabula facility.

The position is responsible for color matching and supporting new product development. In addition, she will work with Quality Assurance and Manufacturing as required to facilitate the successful scale-up of new developments. Previously, Alt was a Laboratory Technician at Valspar in Garland, Texas. Prior to that, Alt worked for Valspar as a Contract Quality Control Technician in Garland, Texas.

“We are excited to bring Kristin on board. Her education and experience will be a great addition to the Thermoset team,” remarked Ben Arnold, Market Development Manager – Thermoset Americas.

Alt holds Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from Texas Tech University with minors in Biology, Arabic, and Military Studies.
