Holcim picks two: new CEO, executive committee member

Holcim Ltd. has announced that Patrick Dolberg has been appointed to the executive committee of parent company Holcim Ltd. and Bernard Terver has been named chief executive officer of Holcim (US) Inc.

Dolberg will relocate to Zurich, Switzerland, and assume responsibilities for Belgium, France, the Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland and Italy. In addition, he will take over functional responsibility for Cement Manufacturing Services.

Dolberg has worked for the Holcim Group since 1991. He was appointed CEO of St. Lawrence Cement at the end of 1998 and has been CEO of Holcim (US) Inc. since March 2003.

Terver will relocate to Waltham, Mass., from his current post as area manager for Argentina, Chile, the Andes nations and parts of Central America.
