Precast Days Offers Opportunities for Media and Public to Visit Precast Concrete Facilities

2021 Precast DaysThe National Precast Concrete Association (NPCA) and its members are hosting Precast Days 2021 at facilities across the United States. The NPCA invites students, contractors, specifiers, job-seekers, media and community members at large to visit local plants to learn more about the industry. Here, they can also experience up-close how these concrete plants manufacture their products.

32 cities across the United States will hold events this fall. The full list of locations is available on NPCA’s website.

Each event will be unique to the individual facility. Most will include tours, meet-and-greets with plant personnel, Q&A sessions and also job application opportunities.

“Precast Days is a unique opportunity for people to meet the men and women who work there. One can learn what happens inside these facilities that employ their neighbors. They can alos see the process that helps build their area’s infrastructure,” NPCA President Fred Grubbe said. “Precast concrete is a time-tested, durable and resilient component of construction. Visitors will be able to see first-hand how these products are made.”
