The concrete industry’s Strategic Development Council has announced its upcoming meeting this fall to discuss several issues and initiatives facing the concrete industry. Registration for the meeting is now open.
The SDC gathering will take place Oct. 8-10 at Innisbrook Resort & Golf Club in Palm Harbor, Fla. The first half of the meeting will be devoted to a strategic planning session to discuss SDC direction and governance issues. The remaining time will be reserved for SDC Session No. 24, beginning at noon on Thursday, Oct. 9 and adjourning at noon on Friday, Oct. 10. Critical industry technologies, including a final report on SCC Formwork Pressure research, updates on Building Information Modeling, and sustainability, will be the focus of the meeting.
