The Portland Cement Association announced the winners of the 2019 Safety Innovation Awards, which recognize creative safety-enhancing projects in the cement industry.  Presented at the 3rdAnnual Cement and Concrete Fly-In event, the winners were determined by a panel of judges that evaluated innovative submissions from across the country in five categories: distribution, pyro-processing, general facility, quarry and mine, and milling and grinding.

The American Concrete Institute announces the winners of its Mortar Workability Competition and Eco Concrete Competition, held recently at the Concrete Convention and Exposition in Quebec City, QC, Canada.

Amerimix AMX 485 Ultimate Stone Veneer Mortar from Oldcastle has won the Industry Choice Award in World of Concrete’s 2019 Most Innovative Products (MIP) in the Masonry Materials and Equipment category. The MIP award winners were selected by World of Concrete attendees and the audiences of Concrete Construction Magazine along with publisher Hanley Wood’s panel of industry experts based on the innovation they represent to the industry.
