Come Nov. 28-30, 2018 Concrete Decor LIVE! will makes its debut in Canada at The Buildings Show in the Metro Toronto Convention Centre in Ontario to showcase the durability and innovations of decorative and architectural concrete. Tim Manherz Presented with New Safety Award

The Safety and Risk Management Council (SRMC) of the American Society of Concrete Contractors (ASCC), St. Louis, is pleased to announce that Tim Manherz, senior vice president of operations, TAS Commercial Concrete, Houston, TX, is this year’s recipient of the ASCC Member Owner Safety Award, presented September 20 at the association’s Annual Conference in Charlotte.

NACA Applauds Passage of FAA Reauthorization, Disaster Recovery Reform Act

The North American Concrete Alliance (NACA), a coalition of 12 national concrete and cement associations, commended Congress for passing a five-year reauthorization of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), along with the Disaster Recovery Reform Act (DRRA). This legislation included many federal policy priorities supported by the cement and concrete industries, which collectively employ 600,000 Americans and contribute more than $100 billion each year to the U.S. economy.
