Glow technology provides natural light
Ambient Glow Technology (AGT) is a new line of nontoxic, high-performance photoluminescent aggregates that are specifically formulated for the concrete, terrazzo, epoxy and cementitious overlay trade.
AGT transforms any interior or exterior project into a unique, LEED-friendly, ambient light source. Energy is absorbed from natural or artificial light and is gradually released to give projects a self-illuminated afterglow. Just 10 minutes of exposure to light will produce 15 hours of glow time. The use of AGT in a project may positively contribute to the accumulation of more than four LEED points.
Ambient Glow Technology is available in sand, 8-mm, 10-mm and 12-mm stone. It can be applied by methods ranging from hand broadcasting and GFRC to integral finish-coat batch mixing. It can be purchased in quantities of 1 pound, 5 pounds and 20 pounds.
