ASCC to hold Executive Leadership Forum in July

The American Society of Concrete Contractors will hold its 23rd Concrete Executive Leadership Forum July 16 to 19, 2015, at The Greenbrier Resort, White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia. The Forum is a leadership and management conference for concrete contractors. Participants include CEOs, presidents, owners, CFOs, vice presidents and other executives of general and specialty concrete contracting firms.

The event includes seminars, roundtable discussions, croquet and golf tournaments and other activities. Speakers for 2015 include human resources director for Baker Concrete, Denise Hauser; FMI managing director Cynthia Paul; construction-industry economist Anirban Basu and succession planning and investment advisor Ryan Barrades.

Roundtable topics include preparing the next generation to lead the businesses, identifying key performance indicators and engineering higher margins. These open discussions allow attendees to benefit from their peers’ experience with takeaways that enhance their businesses.

The ASCC is a non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the capabilities of those who build with concrete, and to providing them a unified voice in the construction industry. Members include concrete contracting firms, manufacturers, suppliers and others interested in the concrete industry, such as architects, specifiers and distributors. There are approximately 515 member companies in the United States and ten foreign countries.
