ChemSystems Inc. announces partnership with Kansas-based Decorative Concrete Supply

ChemSystems Inc. has announced the formation of a strategic partnership with Decorative Concrete Supply, of Shawnee, Kansas. Effective as of July 9, this partnership will allow Decorative Concrete Supply and ChemSystems Inc. to work more closely together to better serve their customers.

Decorative Concrete Supply will gain access to products, manufacturing technology and internal resources offered by ChemSystems, while providing ChemSystems with better access to the Kansas, Missouri and Arkansas markets for their Helix brand of decorative concrete products. As part of the partnership, Decorative Concrete Supply will become the newest member of the Cement Colors distribution network. The Cement Colors network currently has locations in Fort Worth and Houston, Texas, providing product sales, technical service, specialty manufacturing and warehousing.

Mike Murray, the owner of Decorative Concrete Supply since 1999, will continue to be intimately involved with DCS, focusing primarily on sales and technical service utilizing his extensive background in concrete finishing and mix designs along with his multiple ACI (American Concrete Institute) certifications. Denise Valdepena, treasurer and board member of the Concrete Promotional Group, member of ACI, and board member of the Decorative Concrete Council of the American Society of Concrete Contractors, will be vice president and general manager of Decorative Concrete Supply.

ChemSystems is based in Houston, Texas, and provides products to the decorative concrete market under the HBS, CSI and Helix brand names.
