Coatings for Industry gives a quality finish to Pennsylvania school mural

To help launch a school marketing campaign for its Wearcoat 3015 urethane sealer, Coatings for Industry (CFI) this October donated product and labor to protect a mural in Octorara Primary Learning Center, a 550-pupil K-2 public school in Atglen, Pennsylvania. CFI president Kevin Klotz did the honors personally, applying the coat to the colorful mural in the school’s main stairwell leading to the playground area.

“Our students tends to put their hands on the walls as they walk by, so this will help avoid smudges and fingerprints as well. We are absolutely pleased with the result,” said Principal Frank DiLeo. CFI applied a similar clear coat to an even larger mural in the school’s lobby in 2010, which has proven effective over time. Wearcoat 3015 is a single-component aliphatic polyester urethane that provides a satin finish, and is ideal for use wherever solvent odor is an issue.
