Pro-Tect from Walttools is made for customers with concrete surfaces that need good protection from both indoor and outdoor elements but do not want the heavy appearance of a traditional sealer. Pro-Tect is formulated with an exclusively designed proprietary water-born acrylic silicone hybrid that resists most stains, is UV stable, and is re-coatable, all with minimum hassle. This is ideal for natural finish concrete countertops, low impact decorative floors, microtoppings, and even previously unsealed stamped concrete. Common stain tests of vinegar, yellow mustard, wine, coffee reportedly result in zero effect after 24 hours and wipe right off.
The water based ultra low VOC formula is safe for all restricted states.
Pro-Tect is applied by simple pump sprayer or medium nap lint free roller in two light coatings. Dry time is under one hour, full cure at 12 to 24 hours. Finish is that of a mild luster semigloss. Sacrificial waxes such as Walttools Floorshine may be applied over Pro-Tect for a higher build shine if desired on flooring and countertops.
