NRMCA gains USGBC education provider status

The National Ready Mixed Concrete Association has been approved as a U.S. Green Building Council Education Provider. Its first approved course, “Green Building with Concrete,” will take place Tuesday, July 15, in Silver Spring, Md.

The NRMCA’s new “Green Building with Concrete” course will provide detailed instruction on how the use of concrete can minimize the environmental impact of buildings and public works projects during construction and operation. The course received USGBC Education Program status after a comprehensive review of course materials, course content and instructors. The USGBC Education Provider Program presents professional development courses in green building theory, techniques and trends for building professionals.
