A Modern-minded Design Studio Creates Concrete Cuff Links

concrete cuff linksMaterial Immaterial studio, the same studio that brought a collection of small concrete objects called Spaces, have now created micro-concrete objects they are calling Elements.

The Elements collection is a set of cuff-links made of concrete and sterling silver that are fine quality enough to accompany the wearer in even the most formal gatherings. These are great conversation starters and will evoke many fond memories.

Here’s the artistic statement prepared by Material Immaterial designers Nitin Barchha and Disney Davis:”Architecture which enters into a symbiosis with light and shadow defines space. Form, light and shadow are the quintessential elements of a space that deepen our perception of its boundaries, the memories of these architectural elements linger with us, and leave a lasting impression on our being. We at Material Immaterial studio have conceived these micro-concrete pieces we fondly call Elements to liven up and celebrate the spatial memories forged in time. Each piece of the Elements collection is an individually complete form defined by play of light and shadow. These would give the human imagination a glimpse into what could be . . . and are bound to evoke memories and transend one into the imaginary.”
